Schild, Bucklin plan February wedding

Ray Schild of Ottawa, Kan., and Linda Schild of Baldwin, Kan., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Elizabeth Mary Schild to Brian Eugene Bucklin, son of Joanne and Gary Bucklin of Creston.

Schild is a 1998 graduate of Baldwin High School in Baldwin. She graduated from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan., in 2003, and received a master's degree in public administration from University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 2009. She is currently employed as a development officer at Kansas University Endowment Association in Lawrence, Kan.

Bucklin, a 1999 graduate of Creston High School, received a bachelor's degree from University of Iowa in 2004. He is a 2011 graduate of Master of Arts in School Leadership program at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan. Bucklin is currently employed as physical education teacher and head baseball coach at St. James Academy in Lenexa, Kan.

The couple plan a Feb. 22 wedding in Lenexa.
