DES MOINES — Orient-Macksburg fell to Grandview Park Baptist 62-33 in a Class 1A regional opener here on Thursday.

The Bulldogs scored the first four points of the game, but that was the last lead they held during the game as Grandview Park Baptist cruised to a 37-14 lead at halftime.

Lisa Moss scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds with five steals for the Bulldogs. Shannon Eads scored 12 points with six rebounds.

Shyla Waldhauser recorded a team-high 11 rebounds, while Courtney Neal pulled down 10 boards.

Katie Hall led Grandview Park Baptist with 29 points.

The Bulldogs finish the season with a record of 2-18, while Grandview Park Baptist (17-5) advances to take on Martensdale-St. Marys on Tuesday in a Region 6 quarterfinal.
