Thomas Dean Reno, 33, 1015 Manor Dr., was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia 2:15 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Manor Drive.

According to a Creston Police report, officers performed a traffic stop 2:11 a.m. During the stop, Reno, identified as the driver, was asked to exit his car after an odor of marijuana was detected. Officers asked Reno if he could empty his pockets. Reno agreed and from his front left pulled out a purple pipe consistent with a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana. Reno admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle as well as at a friend’s house that night.

Reno was released on $1,000 bond.
