Nicole Annette Hoffman, 42, of Winterset was cited for disorderly conduct and charged on a Polk County warrant for fourth-degree theft 3:21 p.m. Thursday at Greater Regional Medical Center, 1700 W. Townline St.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to Greater Regional Medical Center in response to a report of a disorderly female subject in a waiting room. Upon arrival, officers found Hoffman in the waiting room talking on her cell phone. Officers spoke with employees in the lobby area, who advised the officers she was yelling, waving her arms and beat on a bathroom door. Her actions were causing distress to employees and people waiting in the lobby area.

Hoffman was transported to Ringgold County Jail.
