GREENFIELD — Ronald Nelson of Adair County selected Adair County Health Foundation to receive a donation through America’s Farmers Grow Communities. The Monsanto funds are given to eligible farmers across America who register for a chance to direct a $2,500 donation to a nonprofit organization in the community that they live and work in.

On Feb. 19, a check presentation was held at Adair County Memorial Hospital. Adair County Health Foundation will use the funds for the upcoming surgery renovation.

“We are delighted that Ron and his family chose the Adair County Health Foundation to receive the funds,” said Tiffany Johnson, Adair County Health Foundation director. “Being able to continue to provide quality health care in our rural community is key to keeping Adair County going.”
