Cody Michell Feller, 20, of Redfield was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and three counts of possession of a schedule 2 narcotic 11 p.m. Tuesday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Creston Police report, a Southwestern Community College employee called dispatch requesting assistance from law enforcement in dealing with a subject he had discovered who was smoking marijuana in a truck parked on college grounds. Upon arrival, officers saw a plastic bag containing what appeared to be marijuana, a metal marijuana grinder and a plastic bag containing what appeared to be prescription pills all in plain view from the passenger window of the truck. A search of the vehicle was conducted and a glass pipe containing what appeared to look and smell like marijuana was discovered in the driver’s door. The prescription pills were oxycodone 325 mg pills.

Feller consented to a search of his college residence hall room and a bag containing digital scales and illegal prescription pills was discovered. A bottle containing one small green pill with the markings 5883 dan 10, a methylphenidate, and four capsules with the label m. aphmet salts 30 mg, an amphetamine or dextroamphetamine, was discovered in side the bag. These pills were discovered to be a schedule 2 narcotic.

Feller has a prior substance 2 narcotic conviction.
