Lenox Police

Chad Sager, 40, of Beresford, S.D., was charged on Lenox Police warrants for stalking and harassment 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Union County, S.D.

According to a Lenox Police report, the charges stem from a five-month investigation in which Sager is alleged to have stalked and harassed a female who lives in Lenox. Lenox Police Department was assisted in the investigation by Taylor County Sheriff’s office, Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation Cyber Crimes Unit, Delaware State Police, San Diego, Calif., Police Department and Florida Division of Law Enforcement.

Sager waived extradition at a court appearance Friday.

Sager was transported back to Iowa by Lenox officers, and was being held in Adams County Jail on no bond.

The investigation continues, and additional charges are possible.

Jesus Alvarez, 18, of Lenox was charged with first-degree burglary noon Sunday at his residence.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers were dispatched to an address on North Main Street in reference to an assault. Investigation showed Alvarez kicked in a door and assaulted a male at that address. Alvarez was seen running from the area when officers responded, and he was located at his residence, where he was charged by Lenox Police and Taylor County Sheriff’s office.

Alvarez was being held in Adams County Jail on $25,000 bond.
