Child and Adult Care Food Program available

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that:

• gives reimbursement for healthy meals and snacks served every day

• encourages physical activity daily

• ensures the safe environment of a state-registered home

• supports working families

If you are a registered day care provider in Adams, Ringgold, Taylor or Union counties, or if you would like a list of providers in these counties, contact Marlene Wyer, Union County Extension, 811 N. Sumner Ave., Creston, IA 50801; call 641-782-8426; or email mwyer@iastate.edu.

CACFP is available to all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.

National CACFP Week is March 16-22.
