Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown to headline Ringgold County GOP dinner

MOUNT AYR — Former United States Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., will be making his third speaking appearance in Iowa at the Ringgold County GOP dinner April 3 at Ramsey Farms, 2285 270th Ave., Mount Ayr.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner beginning at 6:15 p.m. and program at 6:30 p.m. Ticket cost is $25 per person or $50 per family. Tickets can be purchased through Ringgold County GOP by contacting Tracee Knapp, Ringgold County GOP secretary at 641-202-4801 or stknapp@iowatelecom.net. 

Brown will share his vision for the country and how the Republican party can succeed in future elections. Brown was elected to the United States Senate in 2010 in a special election that garnered national attention. Brown was elected in the overwhelmingly Democratic state of Massachusetts. Brown is viewed as a future potential Republican candidate for president.
