Lenox Police

Laura Zapata Gonzales, 20, of Lenox was charged with driving while suspended 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers observed a subject driving a vehicle on South Walnut Street who they knew had a suspended driver’s license. Officers performed a stop and the driver was identified as Gonzales. A routine check of her driver’s license showed it was suspended for nonpayment of an Iowa fine. Gonzales was charged and transported to Taylor County Jail. The car was impounded.

Gonzales was released on $566.25 bond.

Jamie Adams, 20, of Bedford was charged with driving while suspended 3:30 p.m. Monday.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers observed a vehicle with a known suspended driver. The driver was identified as Adams. She was charged and transported to Taylor County Jail. The car was impounded.

Adams was released on $566.25 bond.

David Elliot, 37, of Lenox was cahrged with driving while suspended and failure to have insurance 1:40 a.m. today.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers observed a white Chevy on Michigan Street being operated without license plates. Officers performed a stop and the driver was identified as Elliot. A check of Elliot’s driver’s license showed him to be suspended for nonpayment of an Iowa fine. He was also unable to provide proof of insurance for the vehicle. Elliot was charged and transported to Taylor County Jail. The car was impounded.

Elliot was being held on $566.25 bond.
