Staci Palmer, 32, of Mount Ayr died April 4, 2014, at Clearview Home in Mount Ayr.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. The Rev. Eydie Stephens will officiate. Open visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa. Staci Lynn Palmer, daughter of Margaret C. (Phillips) and Richard L. Palmer, was born Oct. 26, 1981, in Creston.

Staci grew up in Tingley and graduated from Creston High School in 2003.

While growing up, Staci attended Tingley Christian Church. Staci was granted her wish from Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa to visit Disney World in 1998.

Staci is survived by her mother Margaret (John) Patterson of Grimes, father Richard (Shirl) Palmer of Tingley; brothers, Richie (Cassidy) of Callendar and Dustin Palmer of Tingley; niece Cloey Palmer and nephew Kellen Palmer, both of Callendar; aunts and uncles, Roger (Barb) Palmer of Redmond, Ore., Michael (Sherri) Phillips of Fresno, Calif., Jack (Tina) Phillips of Springfield, Mo., James (Brenda) Phillips of Marshfield, Mo., Jerry (Elanore) Phillips of Redding, Calif., and Kim Sanchez of Fresno, Calif.; many cousins and friends.

Staci was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Ashenhurst, Mike Phillips, Pat Phillips and Faye Bucknell; uncle Bud Collier; and aunts, Bert Collier, Shelley Bolles, Norma Jean Nichols, Punkie Moody and Shirley Phillips.
