No citations were issued after an accident 8:20 a.m. Friday on Laurel Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Sandra Kay Seley, 71, 1102 S. Sumner Ave. Apt. 2, driving a 2000 Pontiac, backed the vehicle southward out of a parking space and struck the passenger side of a 2010 Chevrolet driven west through a parking lot by Makinze Louise Reed, 23, 1511 N. Cherry St.

Damage estimates are $900 to Seley’s vehicle and $3,000 to Reed’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 1:41 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Adams Street and North Sumner Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, Katherine Lorraine Stambaugh, 78, of Orient, driving a 1999 Saturn north on North Sumner, was in the left lane, attempting a left turn onto West Adams, and turned into the path of a 2006 Kia driven south on North Sumner by Joseph Adam Erlandson, 37, of Greenfield, whose vehicle struck the left driver’s side of Stambaugh’s vehicle.

Damage estimates are $3,000 to Stambaugh’s vehicle and $2,000 to Erlandson’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 1:07 p.m. Saturday on Yellow Rose Avenue.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Colt McLeod Rogness, 17, of Lorimor, driving a 2007 Dodge north on Yellow Rose, and Travis Glenn Ramsey, 29, of Osceola, driving a 2001 Ford south on Yellow Rose, were driving in the middle of the road, the vehicles swiped each other and both went into the east ditch.

Damage estimates are $5,000 to Rogness’ vehicle and $5,000 to Ramsey’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 6:40 a.m. today on REA Road.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Dustin Michael Kirk, 25, of Lorimor, driving a 2004 Chevrolet west on REA, lost control of the vehicle because of icy conditions, and went into the south ditch, where the vehicle rolled once.

Damage estimate is $5,000 to Kirk’s vehicle.
