UNDERWOOD — The Valley girls soccer team lost 3-2 in overtime here on Tuesday, on a goal by Underwood’s Booke Cooper with 1:15 left in the first overtime period.

“Underwood is a very well-coached team and they beat us to the ball,” Valley head coach Michael Krawczyk said. “They got us down quick, then our defense settled in and allowed for us to fight back in the second half to tie the game after losing one of our forwards to a dislocated elbow. We are proud of the girls on never giving up and fighting hard till the end.”
