GRMC Auxiliary awards $5,000 in scholarships

Greater Regional Medical Center Auxiliary recently awarded five $1,000 scholarships to area applicants pursuing careers in health care. Recipients include:

Jill Johnson, Creston, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Neb., physical therapy

Lucas Neitzel, Creston, Simpson College, Indianola, health care administration

Brian Zaragoza, Lenox, University of Iowa, Iowa City, pre-medicine

Ben Landers, Creston, Graceland University, Lamoni, biology and chemistry

Brittany Bunker, Creston, University of Iowa, Iowa City, physical therapy

GRMC Auxiliary annual membership dues and other fundraisers support the funding of these scholarships. Any student in the surrounding communities who pursue a career in the health care field is eligible to apply.
