Accident

No citations were issued after an accident 5:10 p.m. Friday at Casey’s General Store, 403 E. Townline St.

According to a Creston Police report, David Anthony Qualseth, 16, 1436 Highway 34, driving a 2005 Hyundai, attempted to park in front of Casey’s on East Townline, said his foot caught on the brake, proceeded over the curb and struck the exterior of the building.

Damage estimates are $300 to Qualseth’s vehicle and $1,200 to the Casey’s building.
