Adams County Sheriff

Gail Freihage, 64, of Prescott was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated, driving while revoked, failure to file SR-22 insurance and being in possession of an open container of alcohol 1:07 a.m. today.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, sheriff deputies stopped Freihage for driving a motor vehicle without a license. During the investigation, Freihage was found to be under the influence of alcohol with open containers of alcohol in the vehicle, and records showed he did not have SR-22 insurance as required by law for a previous OWI charge.

Freihage was transported to Adams County Jail, where he was waiting to appear before a magistrate.
