Union County Sheriff

William DeWayne Crispin, 44, of Lorimor was charged with second-degree criminal mischief 12:51 a.m. today in Lorimor.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, residents of 508 Minnesota Ave. called Union County Law Enforcement Center and advised Crispin was at the residence and had damaged property. Upon arrival, officers saw the back window and passenger side mirror of a white Chevy truck were broken. A rear tail light, windshield and top of a white Pontiac Grand Prix were also broken. The residents said Crispin broke a window to the residence and put a dent in the front door. They also said Crispin drove off in a dark-colored SUV and ran over the trash can. Crispin was located at his residence at 312 Ohio Ave., and after a short time talking to him, Crispin was charged and transported to Union County Law Enforcement Center.

Crispin was being held on $5,000 bond.
