Warren Cultural Center to host second annual gala dinner

GREENFIELD — The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield will celebrate the completion of its second year of great entertainment and events at its annual gala dinner and dance on Saturday.

Restoration of the historic 1896 opera house was completed in spring of 2012, and since then the center has presented more than 40 stage performances and hosted as many meetings, receptions and other events. The center also offers art exhibits and classes, and is home to Ed & Eva’s art store, which sells unique works by more than 80 Iowa artisans.

Social hour with cash bar starts at 5:30 p.m, followed by dinner from Los Altos at 6:30 p.m. A program will highlight the past year of operation of the center and how individuals can be involved with its programs. Dancing to the music of the band EXIT 113 starts at 8 p.m.
