Dakota Wesley Farris, 21, 103 N. Poplar St., was charged with driving while suspended 5:01 p.m. Monday at the intersection of South Lincoln Street and Sherman Avenue.
According to a Creston Police report, officers were on patrol on Highway 34 when a black Impala drove past heading west. Officers recognized the driver as Farris, a suspended driver, and turned around. Officers were able to locate the vehicle again when it drove past them heading south on North Lincoln Street. Officers noticed once more the driver was Farris and made a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers identified the driver as Farris and it was confirmed through dispatch that Farris’ license was suspended.
Farris was released on $300 bond.
