Accident

No citations were issued after an accident 10:26 a.m. May 26 at the intersection of West Townline and North Lincoln streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Dustin Ronald Hepp, 24, of Greenfield, driving a 2003 Harley-Davidson west on West Townline, approached the stoplight at the intersection of West Townline and North Lincoln in the right lane, lost control of his vehicle after attempting to brake when a car, described as a green Buick, in the left lane of West Townline continued west, then abruptly turned right to go north on North Lincoln and into the path of Hepp’s vehicle. Hepp’s vehicle slid on the wet pavement for approximately 50 feet.

Hepp had only minor injuries.

Damage estimate is $1,500 to Hepp’s vehicle.
