Totus Tuus to begin next week

Holy Spirit Parish will be holding Totus Tuus, a summer Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness and Eucharistic worship.

Totus Tuus is open to students entering grades first through 12th grades next school year. For those entering grades first through eighth, the sessions will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9-13 at St. Malachy School. Students bring a sack lunch and clothes for Mass every day. High school students meet 8 to 9:30 p.m. June 8-12 at St. Malachy School.

Totus Tuus is led by a team of four college students, two men and two women. The team will include a seminarian. The daytime session includes Mass at 11:15 a.m. each day (which is open to everyone). There will be time for confession both during the day and the night session.

Cost is $25 for grade school, and no charge for high school. Registration forms are available at the church or the parish office, 406 W. Clark St. Call Barb Hudson at 641-348-2343 with questions. This is open to everyone.
