No citations were issued after an accident 12:42 p.m. Wednesday on North Pine Street.

According to a Creston Police report, Mackenzie Joy Norton, 16, 607 College Dr., driving a 2003 Ford, and Madeline Marie Lorentzen, 59, 301 New York Ave., driving a 2007 Chevrolet, each backed out of a parking space at the same time and collided in the middle of the road. The passenger in Norton’s vehicle said Lorentzen had made a u-turn into the parking space and started backing out.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Norton’s vehicle and $2,000 to Lorentzen’s vehicle.

Kimberly Ann Delong, 18, 221 S. Lincoln St., was cited for failure to yield to the right of way after an accident 6:34 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of North Vine and Harsh streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Delong, driving a 2002 Pontiac north on North Vine, came to an uncontrolled intersection, proceeded and struck the front driver’s side of a 2011 Jeep driven west on Harsh by Kasey Marie Stuart, 19, 1803 Iris Ave. Stuart’s vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Damage estimates are $400 to Delong’s vehicle and $1,100 to Stuart’s vehicle.
