AMES — At Iowa State University’s spring commencement ceremonies, 4,021 students received degrees. Iowa State awarded 3,357 undergraduate degrees, 413 master’s degrees, 147 veterinary medicine degrees and 104 doctor of philosophy degrees.

Missouri Valley College

MARSHALL, Mo. — Dr. Sharon Weiser, vice president of academic affairs for Missouri Valley College, has announced the spring 2014 dean’s list. The requirements for the dean’s List are a 3.3 or higher grade point average; at least 12 graded hours for the semester and no “D,” “F,” or “Incomplete” grades for the semester.

Summer Sistad of Creston was named to the dean’s list.

Graceland University

LAMONI — The honor roll lists for Graceland University’s 2014 spring term have been announced.

Graceland University students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average are named to the president’s list. Students with a GPA between 3.65 and 3.99 are named to the honors list. Students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.64 are named to the dean’s list.

Northwest Missouri State University

MARYVILLE, Mo. — Northwest Missouri State University student Jasmine Ruckman of Creston, a sophomore majoring in agricultural business, was recently recognized during the university’s spring academic celebration as a recipient of the Larry and Velma Ehlert Endowment.

Ruckman was one of about 125 Northwest students recognized at the ceremony alongside many of the donors who support them through scholarships. The celebration is a collaborative event that brings together students, faculty and staff representing each of the University’s three academic colleges, its graduate school and the academic departments within those colleges, as well as the friends and families of students.
