GARDEN GROVE — Braydon Held and Sam Rockhold each hit a home run as Murray picked up a 6-1 Bluegrass Conference win over Mormon Trail here on Thursday.

Held went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs. Rockhold, Justin Jones and Zabe Hatfield each drove in one run.

Held also picked up the win on the mound, going five innings, allowing five hits with one walk and six strikeouts. Hatfield pitched two innings of relief, striking out one.

Lenox 4,

SW Valley 1

CORNING — Jared Hensley struck out 10 Southwest Valley hitters as the Lenox Tigers picked up a 4-1 win over the Timberwolves here on Thursday.

Hensley allowed just four hits and walked two batters in the win. He also drove in a run with a single in the third inning.

Dawson Tullberg had an RBI double for Lenox in the fourth inning.

Bryan Pearson pitched for Southwest Valley, allowing four hits and just one earned run in the loss. He walked two and struck out two batters.

Lenox improved to 5-1 for the season.
