Things continue to pop at Gibson Memorial Library.

At 10 a.m. June 18, Keith West will be presenting a magic show for children of all ages. This show will take place at the Methodist Church fellowship hall.

Blank Park Zoo will be paying a visit to the library June 27. Two special programs for preschoolers will be held at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at the library. The zoo does limit the number of children attending the preschool programs, so call the library at 641-782-2277 to register your preschooler.

The zoo will present a program for school-age children 1 p.m. June 27 at the Methodist Church fellowship hall called Weird Animal Science. There is no registration required for this program.

There is still plenty of time to register for the summer reading program. Reading programs for all ages, including toddlers and adults, continue until July 25.

Special programs will be held 1:30 p.m. June 25 and July 2 for school-age children.

Movies will be presented 1:30 p.m. July 9, 16, and 23 at the library for school-age children. Call the library for titles.

Teen programs will be held 1:30 p.m. June 12, 19, 26 and July 3, 10, 17 and 24.

For more information about any of the library’s summer programs, call the library at 641-782-2277 or stop in at 200 W. Howard.
