News Advertiser reveals new masthead

Published: Monday, June 16, 2014 4:32 p.m. CST • Updated: Monday, June 16, 2014 5:49 p.m. CST

Today, readers will notice a new masthead atop the Creston News Advertiser front page. This new masthead is the collaborative effort of three on-staff designers each with the aim freshening the appearance of our front page.

This design process — which received feedback from CNA department heads and various staff — took about 30 days. The new masthead is the second modernization of content since March when Throwback Thursday was implemented.

That popular feature — compiled by CNA Newsroom Assistant Courtney Dake — runs each Thursday on page 2A and includes vintage news items and photos from the area from 5, 10, 20 and 50 years ago in history.

Today, readers will also notice an updated design at the bottom of today's front page. That area now has an easy-read weather report with modernized weather icons.

Like the new changes? Don't like them? Either way, send your comments to editor@crestonnews.com
