MURRAY — A boil advisory for the city of Murray in Clarke County has been lifted.

The advisory was issued for portions of the city north of Fifth Street following a water main break Wednesday. The break caused a loss of water pressure which can potentially allow bacteria to enter the system.

The line has since been repaired and two separate water samples indicate the water is safe to drink.
