Harvey Harrison, Jr., 59, of Creston died June 20, 2014, at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center.

No services are planned, and there will be no public viewing. Memorials may be directed to the family. Pearson Family Funeral Serivce, 809 W. Montgomery St., Creson, assisted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com.

Harvey Lee Harrison Jr., the son of Colleen Wyonne (Hilterbrand) and Harvey Lee Harrison Sr., was born April 19, 1955, in Osceola.

Harvey attended high school in Omaha, Neb., and enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 17. Harvey first served in the Army from 1972 to 1974. He received his GED while serving in the Army from September 1981 through September 1984. He was stationed in Germany part of the time.

After his discharge, Harvey worked different construction jobs in various parts of the state, mostly home and road construction.

Harvey is survived by his wife Debra Morehouse of Prescott; children, Jesse Harrison and Corinna Morehouse, both of Prescott, and Rick Morehouse of Persia; grandsons, Dylon Richman of Prescott and Reggie Morehouse of Sharpsburg; brother Richard (Theresa) Harrison of Red Oak; sisters, Darlene Riepe of Creston, Crystal McCarl of Slater, Sheila (Rick) Utterback of Creston, Doreen Miller of Oskaloosa, Melody (Jim) Richardson of Council Bluffs and Julie Miller of Manilla; basset hound Droop; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Ricky Morehouse Jr.
