Senior Day planned at Adair County Fair

GREENFIELD — Adair County Health System and Good Samaritan Society of Fontanelle are teaming together to host this year’s Senior Day July 18 at the Adair County Fair. The Adair County Fair Board is offering half-off gate admission, $3 per person, for senior citizens until 11 a.m.

The Senior Day events will be held in the air conditioned 4-H/FFA building from 8:30 a.m. to noon. This event is free with the purchase of a gate admission. Adair County Farm Bureau will be serving breakfast in the courtyard starting at 7 a.m.

The day will include free door prizes along with entertainment by Mason Jar from Stuart. Jan Morgan, RN of Adair County Health System, will be doing “Life Is A Ball” exercises. An education program by Denise Grandgenett, RN, on advance directives will be on the schedule. At the end of the event, bingo will be put on by the Good Samaritan Society with prizes being given to winners.

No RSVP is needed to attend this event.
