No citations were issued after an accident 2:21 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and 110th Street in Adams County.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, a 2002 Chrysler 300 M, driven by Stacy Lynn Van Hal, 47, 907 N. Walnut St., Creston, lost control of the vehicle because of loose gravel and drove into a ditch.

No citations were issued after an accident 3:33 p.m. Sunday on 190th Street.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Adriana Rose Vanderpluym, 17, 1003 S. Sumner St. Apt. 19, driving a 1997 Chevrolet west on 190th, lost control of the vehicle because of loose gravel and the vehicle came to rest in the north ditch.

Damage estimate is $1,800 to Vanderpluym’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 10:18 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 195th Street and Highway 169.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Melanie Lynn Mitchell, 45, of Afton, driving a 1997 Chevrolet north on 169, struck a black cow at the intersection of Highway 169 and 195th, causing damage to her vehicle.

Damage estimate is $4,000 to Mitchell’s vehicle.
