Larry D. Ratliff Jr., 23, of Afton was charged on a Taylor County warrant for driving while barred July 21 in Afton.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers were dispatched to Michael Foods, 100 Papetti Parkway, July 17 in response to a worker causing a disturbance and threatening other employees. Upon arrival, officers observed a man driving from the parking lot in a silver Chrysler. At the time, officers were unaware it was the subject who had been called about. After speaking with management, the man officers observed was identified as Ratliff. A routine check of Ratliff showed his driver’s license was barred. Officers obtained a warrant. Ratliff was charged on the warrant by Afton Police Department July 21. Ratliff was transported to Union County Jail and later transferred to Taylor County Jail.

Ratliff was released on his own recognizance.

Anna Sprouse, 53, of Lenox was charged with trespassing on North Main Street.

According to a Lenox Police report, police were notified an apartment on North Main Street had been entered and property was removed without permission July 22. Following investigation into the incident, Sprouse was charged.

Sprouse was issued a summons July 31 to appear in court at a later date. The property was returned.

Michael Hartley, 26, of Lenox was charged on Taylor County warrants for domestic assault causing injury and trespassing 8 p.m. Thursday at his residence.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers were dispatched to a residence on West Ohio Street 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in response to an assault. The subject, identified as Hartley, was gone on officers’ arrival. Following investigation into the incident, warrants were obtained. Officers received information Thursday that Hartley was at his residence. Officers responded and Hartley was charged. He was transported to Taylor County Jail.

Hartley was released on $1,000 bond.

Joshua Weeks, 29, of Creston was charged with public intoxication 1:30 a.m. Saturday at Dally Post Saloon, 116 N. Main St., Lenox.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers were dispatched to Dally Post Saloon in response to a disturbance. It was determined Weeks entered the bar in a highly intoxicated condition and confronted another patron, causing a disturbance.

Weeks was released on $300 bond.
