No citations were issued after an accident 2:36 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Elm and Adams streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Martin Wendell Shawler, 75, 904 S. Oak St., drove a 1999 Dodge north on Elm Street as Donna Mae Baier, 79, of Greenfield, drove a 2006 Buick west on Adams Street. Shawler stated Baier had struck his vehicle. Baier stated there was some confusion at the intersection, which had flashing red lights, and continued into the intersection where the accident occurred.

Damage estimates are $2,000 to Shawler’s vehicle and $2,500 to Baier’s vehicle.
