Creston/O-M players run a play against the defense as fall practice opened Monday without pads. Full contact is allowed at the end of the week with an intrasquad scrimmage scheduled Saturday morning. The Panthers open their season Aug. 29 at home against Norwalk.

Booster meeting

Creston Activities Booster Club will meet 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at A&G Steakhouse and Lounge.

Agenda includes new sandwich ideas for home football games; honoring community youth and alumni at football, basketball and volleyball games; new popcorn machine inside concession area; plans for membership canvas 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17; report on clothing sales from “Craze Daze” and school registration totaling $1,100; homecoming T-shirt plans and holiday items.
