According to a Creston Police report, June A. Towne, 63, of Nebraska, driving a 2001 Chevrolet west on West Taylor, had her turn signal on, attempted to switch lanes and turned into the lane into the path of a 2011 Lexus driven west on West Taylor by Virginia Alice Aguilar, 54, 1642 185th St. Towne said Aguilar was speeding and came out of nowhere as she attempted to switch lanes. Aguilar said she was driving normally and Towne turned into her lane when she was next to her. Aguilar said she was a little sore in the upper chest and neck area, but did not want the medics. She said she might make an appointment to be checked out.
Damage estimates are $600 to Towne’s vehicle and $600 to Aguilar’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 4:47 a.m. Sunday in Cromwell.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, Devin Lee Heimke, 21, of Corning, driving a 2007 Kia west on Cromwell Road, failed to make the curve at the intersection of Cromwell Road and Adams Avenue in Cromwell, went off the road and struck a Union County stop sign and culvert.
Damage estimates are $4,000 to Heimke’s vehicle and $200 to the stop sign.

No citations were issued after an accident 4:26 a.m. Monday on Lark Avenue.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, Miguel Angel Rosales Nunez, 26, of Osceola, driving a 2004 Mazda north on Lark, was unfamiliar with the road, thought the entrance to a parking lot was the road, entered it, drove across and struck a state of Iowa guard rail before going down a hill and coming to rest on the vehicle’s top.
Damage estimates are $8,500 to Rosales Nunez’ vehicle and $500 to the guard rail.
