Landi McFarland and Andrew Livingston of Ellston were married June 14 at the original homestead of the bride’s ancestors.
The bride is the daughter of David and Joy McFarland of rural Ellston, and granddaughter of John and Barb Kiburz and the late Wayne and Bobbi McFarland. The groom is the son of Jeff and Jenia Livingston of rural Shannon City, and grandson of William and Dorothy Livingston and Jim and Joyce Smith.
The Rev. Rob Rolfe officiated the outdoor ceremony.
Instead of traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen, the bride and groom chose two mentors as witnesses to participate in the ceremony. The bride’s mentors were Jane Lawhead and Judy Hensley. The groom’s mentors were George Newago and Michael Wilson.
The bride carried a bouquet of roses and wild daisies made by the groom.
The cowboy and country-themed wedding and reception were complete with sack races, hayrack rides and Pumptown band.
The groom and his family made over 40 flower arrangement bouquets primarily from wildflowers as table decorations.
The bride and her mother made and decorated 22 two-layer wedding cakes.
The bride and groom are full-time employees of Hoover Angus in Ellston.
