Chad Sterling Cozad, 24, 511 N. Elm St. Apt. 2, was charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and driving while suspended 7:25 p.m. Monday.

According to a Creston Police report, Cozad was stopped for driving while suspended. After he was stopped, officers ran his driver’s license information to make sure he was, in fact, suspended. Cozad admitted to smoking marijuana earlier that day. He showed signs of impairment and consented to a field sobriety test. Cozad showed signs of impairment during the testing and consented to a preliminary breath test, with a result of .000, ruling out alcohol.
