Disappointing vote

Creston

With a population over 7,000 people, Creston had a disappointedly small fraction of people attend the open to the public city council meeting last Tuesday evening.

However, help me to understand how, those who serve the people/public can vote to sell Lincoln School when more of those who did attend stated clearly they were not in favor of selling the school. And others wrote letters stating they were for the library move. Not to mention the council originally voted to purchase the school from the school district with the intent of converting it into a city library.

The vote is cast, the decision apparently made, but moving on? To what?
