Deborah Diane Springer, 64, of Creston died Aug. 27, 2014, at Greater Regional Hospice Home.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. Pastor David Neas, First Christian Church, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Memorials may be given to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com.

Deborah Diane Springer, daughter of Paulene Inez (Lambert) and Donald L. Bauer, was born July 15, 1950, in Carroll.

Deborah graduated from Coon Rapids High school and worked many jobs in the Coon Rapids area, including many restaurants and Fairview Flower Shop.

On Dec. 30, 1986, Deborah married Richard Springer in Creston.

Deborah worked as head housekeeper at the Super 8 Motel in Creston for seven years.

Deborah is survived by her husband Richard Springer of Creston; daughters, Susan (Trevor) Phipps of Creston, Cally Springer (Kully Olson) of Waterloo and Mindi (Bob Herrold) Jones of Granger; father Donald Bauer of Creston; grandchildren, Brady and Blake Phipps, Madelynn Olson, Kole Lovely and Taylor Jones; brother Steve (Linda) Bauer of Coon Rapids, and many other relatives and friends.

Deborah was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Bauer-Springer; mother; and brothers, Bill, Larry and Mike Bauer.
