Healthy Kids Day scheduled

Healthy Kids Day will be held 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Southern Prairie YMCA in Creston and YMCA of Adair County in Greenfield. This annual event is a day of hands-on fun and educational experiences for children and families that promotes healthy kids, healthy families and healthy communities. Events will include make-and-take projects and information on safety and nutrition. Booths with activities for children from preschool age through sixth grade will be featured. Interactive demonstrations and performances will take place throughout the day. All ages are welcome to attend this free event.
