DES MOINES (AP) — Three Iowa cities and two counties have reached a deal with the state to advertise on the sides of its liquor delivery trucks. Adams and Jackson counties, and Dubuque, Fairfield and Guttenburg have partnered with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division to design and install images of their communities onto five of the agency’s semitrailers that deliver liquor across the state. The moving billboards are part of the state’s Great Places initiative, which promotes the qualities that make each community unique. Officials with the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs say the deal with help promote the communities that are advertised on the semis statewide.
