Every student entering Bill Barker’s Thanksgiving card contest earned a $1 McDonalds gift card. Each of his three bus routes had a winner earning a $5 gift card to the restaurant, with second place students winning a $3 card. The overall winner, Tori Boynton, earned an additional $5 gift card. Barker said if the winners aren’t interested in McDonalds as a prize, he’d give them the cash equivalent.
