Creston girls earn fifth victory

By HILARY LOUDON

The Creston girls knew that they had obstacles that were standing in their way of a victory Monday night. They had one big one before the game even began.

Because of the absence of senior Kierra Smith and junior Sarah Jennett, they had only two seasoned players.

After tip-off, the obstacles kept coming. They put the Fillies behind the free throw line too often and enabled them to keep the score close.

The Panthers were able regain their composure and didn’t give up the lead they earned in the third quarter, ending the game in a 58-40 win.

I agree, it prevents school from lasting too far into June.
I disagree, it is too early, especially if it starts before the end of the Iowa State Fair.
School should be year-round
