Jonathan Lee Million, 21, of Farragut was charged 7:21 p.m. Tuesday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center on a Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation.
John Charles Mueller, 40, of Greenfield was cited for operation with an expired license after an accident 2:05 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Highway 34 and Iris Avenue.
Bobbie Sue Conley, 29, of Des Moines was charged 12:40 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of South Walnut Street on a Department of Corrections warrant for probation violation.
The McKinley Park Festival kicked off at 8:30 a.m. Saturday July 31 with a kids fishing contest. More than 150 kids participated in the contest. A bike parade ensued at 1 p.m. The parade was judged and two boys and two girls received new bikes. The Bill Riley Talent Show took place at the bandshell at 2 p.m. First-place contestants advanced to perform at the Iowa State Fair. And at 10 p.m., the Creston Shooters delivered an 18-minute fireworks display.
